Rochelle Stibb

An artist from a very young age, Rochelle’s talents are evident in everything she does. She enjoys experimenting with many forms of art including photography, watercolor painting, sewing, quilting and rug hooking.

Several years ago, she was inspired to create wall hangings which feature photos of her five children. Rochelle’s award winning quilts have been exhibited in several quilt shows including Quilt Expo in Madison, Wisconsin and the International Quilt Show in Houston, Texas. In 2008, Rochelle was Nancy Zieman’s guest on Sewing with Nancy, for a two-part series called Picture Perfect Quilts. Recently, Rochelle has began working with wool to create rugs and wall hangings. She uses new wool as well as recycled wool from old garments and blankets. The wool is over-dyed to add interest to the color spectrum. Rochelle’s most recent rug, Majestic Moose, will be featured in Celebrations of Hand-Hooked Rugs XXI by Rug Hooking Magazine.

Rochelle is also a graphic artist. Upon receiving her degree in Commercial Art, she began hand-painting vehicles and signs as well as designing and illustrating print media out of her home. This business evolved into Design Advertising, 310 Seippel Boulevard in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin which is owned by Rochelle and her husband, Rick. As art director, Rochelle is responsible for generating ideas and bringing them to life. Rochelle is involved with designing an array of logos, brochures, catalogs, signage, websites and other projects for their clients.
